Success!!!!

On our last day,  we got an early 3:30am start to see Manhattan before the sun hit its concrete jungle and shiny skyscrapers. We then proceeded to paddle the entire length of Manhattan from Yonkers to Battery Park and then south across to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. 315 miles. Just a few hours shy of 11 days. An unofficial world record for the books. And an incredibly emotionally and physically tiring and yet transformative experience for us.   https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmaCsKm9FkI

We are in the news :)

100 miles to go!!!

We have 103 miles left to the Statue of Liberty on our quest to canoe and camp along the entire Hudson River in 2 weeks. We have paddled past rapids, waterfalls, rocks, dams, locks and tidal waters in 8 and 1/2 days covering 212 miles. Our backs are shot but our spirits high. On we go! Hope you have been following our progress. Peace to all.

We are at the halfway point!
